What is the daily bread that we ask God the Father?
While praying the prayer that Jesus taught us in our childhood ,how many times we have imagined the bread that God gives us? And how many times we still dare to ask that bread?
In fact everyday indirectly in our prayers we do request it.
On second thought, every day, every awakening is the confirmation of a resolution of the love of God for us: the new day that God gives us is the repetitive confidence that God has for us and his desire to develop His plans for us .
Every day is full of its features, no day is identical to another. God taught us to pray with sincerity and abandonment, for our daily needs. The daily bread may be just what you and God know that you need to keep going. From basic things like feeding our body
Who among you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will give him a serpent? (Matthew 7: 9-11)
and even more ‘”complex” that many times for spiritual fatigue or lack of faith, we dare not to ask God (the realization of our lives in different areas) and knowing that this request may or may not be the Lord’s will, Jesus’ teaches us in the “Our Father”, we have to “say” our needs; that is, get in touch with our Father in prayer.
The Holy Spirit, in the end will teach us to ask for things more precisely
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.(Rom 8:26).
The daily prayer is for us a workout of trust to have a relationship as children of God and communicate our needs. Instead of complain to others for what we lack, we should seek our Father, who has dreamed of us for eternity and knows things that happen in our mind
You discern my thoughts from far away. (Psalms 139,2) giving God a place in our home, which is our heart. To keep a tight realtionship bond :Father-Son.
Do not be afraid to go to the Father and ask for our daily bread: a material need to allow us to achieve the tranquility and peace or bread to fill our inner world, that can make us better people, to make us grow in the fullness vocation of life and approach to the Lord.
The Lord can satisfy our hunger, and we know from the mouth of our Holy Mother, Mary, his beloved daughter:
he has filled the hungry with good things,
and sent the rich away empty.(Lk 1:53),
proclaimed in her Magnificat. The Bread coming down from Heaven is offered every day, with humility, just ask without ceasing as God never tires of hearing us .
Give us this day our daily bread
