Carrying the cross with Christ

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We are following the path that leads us to the Passover of the Lord, Lent.

This time is very often identified as a time of deprivation, sacrifice and union with God the Father.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have all deprived ourselves of much, sacrificing our affections, our freedoms and changing our lives by adapting them to the new rules.

We have experienced new crosses to carry, the sufferings of the body, of the spirit, of the economic situations but with the awareness that the Lord in silence carries our crosses on his shoulders.

In union with the Savior we can affirm as Saint Paul:  It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me !!!

Dear friends, let us live this 98th Marathon of prayer with the Spirit of God who is with us and who guides us towards victory over death, towards union with the Risen One !!!
