Is there a place for them in your heart?

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

In a few days we will think of the 2016 as a year that is just passed away. So much has happened and much more awaits us in 2017?

Each one of us with our own experiences and expectations for a future that is built day after day. Unfortunately, as for thousands of years also in 2017, the pride, avarice, selfishness, anxiety and fear will not cease to confuse the minds and hearts, make us slaves, and devious.

The media’s constant bombardment will strengthen the shield blinders, in order to do not longer feel compassion for the weak and defenseless, we will be alone even when we will be in need of help, a hand ready, an advice , a real smile and not a virtual one.

There will be still speaking of freedom, of having to decide whether to live or die, to live or to kill, to use the world’s resources as the supermarket offerings and generate human beings ordered on a catalog.

People of value or less, of nations to cry and others to ignore, the candles to be lit or save.

For that pregnant woman on a donkey there was no room in the inn, well we were not there at that time , but now yes.

We really want to accept Jesus, Joseph and Mary in our hearts? We really have room for them?
We invite you to be able to reflect with us and pray that the Holy Spirit makes us available to others and ready to guard the living Jesus in our hearts throughout the new year.
