We belong to God
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,
The period we have been going through for more than six months has put us to the test on all fronts: physical, mental, spiritual and economic.
We found ourselves sharing uncertainty, tension and fear .
We Christians are part of the Pilgrim Church, on our way to our destination which is certainly not the tropical island or the castle on the mountain but the Heavenly Jerusalem.
Created by God the Father out of love, we belong to our creator and yearn for his love for the Eternal Union, for the embrace of a father who awaits us forever.
In moments of greatest despair we ask ourselves but where is God? Why do we feel alone? Can we really be separated from the love of Christ, who died for our salvation?
St. Paul in the letter to the Romans answers us:
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let us fix these words in our hearts and remain strong in the Spirit, unceasing in prayer and active in faith in Christ our Savior.
We are children of God and we belong to His Kingdom for eternity.
United with the whole world, we invite you to the 92nd International Prayer Marathon, we thank all the consecrated and lay participants in keeping together the power of prayer in the name of Jesus.
