The Lord is my Shepherd
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
may the Lord give us Peace!
With the passing of the months of this year 2020, our priorities, our lifestyles and our material and temporal certainties have changed.
Each of us has had to learn to reschedule our plans and wait.
On our way we are passing through a dark valley but the Lord is with us.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;[a]
3 he restores my soul.[b]
He leads me in right paths[c]
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[d]
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me.
In times of suffering it is difficult to see a way out, we feel lost and abandoned.
Everything seems different to us and in this situation the infernal enemy as a wolf of the night tries to separate us from the flock of God.
He wants to confuse us, discourage us and make us lose in the night.
But in the dark valley we are crossing we are not alone, the Lord our shepherd is with us.
And we are in him.
At the end of the month of October dedicated to the Holy Rosary, we entrust ourselves to the guidance of our dear and sweet Mother Mary on our journey of holiness.
On the eve of All Saints, we celebrate the light of Christ that casts away the darkness of evil, we celebrate the love of the Good Shepherd.
