Let us give glory to God, our Creator
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
may the peace of the Lord be with us.
We are approaching the final marathon of 2025 and, as every year, we take stock of everything that has happened over the past twelve months and of what we hope to achieve in the months ahead.
Everything has a beginning and an end and, as we start the new year, we wish to reflect on how God the Father began the creation of the world and the plan for our existence.
Amid all the wonders and mysteries that surround us, we thank the Lord above all for allowing us to be witnesses of what surrounds us and for being creatures made out of love.
What begins with the new year?
Time continues, but we have the opportunity to change something. We have the opportunity to ask God to make us bearers of His grace, so that we may give honor to Him who has loved us.
“The Lord called me from the womb,
from my mother’s womb he pronounced my name.”
Isaiah 49:1
In this 2026, let us not miss even a single opportunity, not even the smallest one, to give glory to God. And how?
Through small and great acts of love, by evaluating everything we do and by answering these three questions:
Is it right in the eyes of God?
Does it serve the good of my soul, my neighbor, and the community?
Does it transform me into a better person, more like Christ?
In 2026 we will live many new experiences, meet new people, and time will pass. In the blink of an eye we will arrive at 2027, but what will remain is the good we have done.
