The greatest gift

The season of Advent is very close, it is inevitable to perceive it, every corner of the city is decorated with the typical Christmas colors. You have asked what could want Jesus as a gift in this birthday? It is often said that the most memorable gifts are those that are given from the heart, and there is one in particular that is very expensive, but not in terms of money, but expensive because it is a human sacrifice: forgiveness.
This gift is precious in God’s eyes, because it makes many people happy, beginning from our Lord, and ourselves, that we get rid of ourselves, frees the memory of something that hurt us. Really is expensive: But it’s worth.

Baby Jesus in a manger is warmed by the love of His parents, has been covered by the love of God the Father, this is the message of Christmas: love. It ‘the same love that led Jesus to die on the cross to forgive the pain, betrayal and denigration that, as a man had to suffer.

²³ So when you are offering your gift at the altar, if you remember that your brother or sister^[e] has something against you, ²⁴ leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother or sister,^[f] and then come and offer your gift.

We can say that it is very difficult, there are things that can not be erased, leaving a blank page; but with the help of God, everything is possible. Jesus needs to find a home in your heart, but this house should be serene and beautiful. Not only with ornaments and colorful Christmas lights, mainly with the peace that will give you the power to forgive. Forgiveness is a process that begins with a decision, and with God’s help, you’ll see how this process will fill you full of healing and to truly love God and to open the doors to welcome.
Encourage yourself to give to Jesus the gift to forgive someone? Prayer is the most effective way to undertake this journey of forgiveness. It would be a wonderful gift.
