We are Disciples of Christ

The first marathon of 2019 is the seventy-second, 72 hours in fact besides being the time that we dedicate monthly to our community prayer reminds us of the number of disciples sent by Jesus:

Lord designated seventy-two disciples and sent them two by two ahead of him in every city and place he was about to go to. (Luke 10: 1).

By meditating on this passage of the Gospel we can associate the call of the first disciples to the way in which we were also called individually.
Yes Jesus spoke to us, through his pastors, or reading the verses of the Holy Scripture, listening to the testimonies of our friends or through our personal experiences.
We have been called to be disciples of Jesus, our first vocation is indeed being disciples for love.

We have been entrusted with the world, the creator of the universe gives us his creations, gives us his being his love and we follow him.
We continue to thank the Lord for this little work of prayer which in its 72 editions has brought the message of Jesus into the world, we remain united in living our faith, our trust in God.
