Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
Christ is Risen Alleluia
We have all celebrated Easter, exchanged greetings with our families and friends. And now? Now it is up to us to be witnesses of life that conquers death, of the light that overcomes darkness.
Words mean little if we do not truly live the message of the Resurrection in our hearts
The risen Jesus reminds us of the eternal presence of God in our lives
God watches over us, loves us, and created us so that we might be loved
Just like the sun that rises and sets, even when we do not see it at night we are certain it is always there and its warmth sustains us, so is God’s love eternal, essential, and faithful
Our one true aspiration must be to prepare ourselves to meet God, so that we may remain forever in the eternal light, with no more night, no more cold, only love
Our beloved Pope Francis, after a life in constant journey toward the Lord, has left a trail to follow: signs of humility and love that help guide us on the path toward eternal union with the Supreme Creator
Let us pray, during this marathon, to always keep our focus on eternity, our one true homeland, so that we may remain with Jesus forever
“The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world” (John 1:9)
As bearers of light, we entrust ourselves to the Holy Mother of God in this month dedicated to Her, and we pray that nothing may diminish our faith and love for our Lord
We pray, during this 142nd Prayer Marathon for the Conclave, that the Holy Spirit may guide the election of the new Pontiff, our shepherd on earth
We remember all your heartfelt intentions: for the sick and the weak, for countries tormented by war and persecution, so that each of us may be a witness to the Resurrection of Jesus
Jesus our eternal light
