God is forever

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

thinking of a new year that has begun we often reflect on the days, months and time that passes in our lives.

We think of our frailties, how much we are vulnerable and fragile but also how much we can leave in our time, how we can contribute to make a better world and how much we can love.

Thinking of our loved ones who have left us, observing everything that belonged to them and have abandoned on this earth and we remember that we are on a pilgrimage from birth to reach the Heavenly Jerusalem.

Remembering the words of the Master:

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away (MC 13:31), we can truly understand that to obtain eternal life in Christ, we must feed on his word which is alive and eternal.

We were created for a project that goes beyond our daily toil, our whims or our greed, it is our Eternal Father creator’s plan for our eternity in Him. Let us remember that another 11 months at the end of 2021 will soon pass, so let us not dwell on time but on the love of the Father, for us, forever.
