Just my Father or Father of all?
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We were all generated by a father and a mother, but not all of us have had the grace to really know them , to feel loved, to spend time with them as we wanted and feel really satisfied and close to their heart.
If we consider the world as one big family, how many have been the divisions, differences, struggles and above all the biggest denial: God as the Father of all.
If we share the same Heavenly Father, then we are all part of the same global family.
In the prayer that Jesus taught us, we call God: the Father, in return we do consider ourselves children, with a great responsibility, to follow His teachings.
We ask for daily bread and forgiveness of sins not only for ourselves but for all his children of the world, our brothers.
Unfortunately sometimes we feel like orphans, the hidden and silent Father does not respond to our requests or we are not fitting any of the categories created by men to receive grace or we do not consider brothers who does not believe in God or belong to other religions?
Among ourselves Christians, how many differences we try to highlight forgetting to use the bonds that we have to be brothers and remain united in Christ?
As children we have the right to inherit His Kingdom in the future but we also have the grace to enjoy it here on earth, united to the Father, close to our brothers.
