Jesus is alive, let’s open our hearts
He has conquered death, alleluia!
Christ has truly risen, alleluia!
With this full ‘joy,’ we want to testify with our lives to Christ’s victory over death.
“Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:37-39).
To testify: as if we were truly given a very limited time to live in the Lord and to let the Lord live in our actions. Often, just a smile is enough to give birth to hope in everyday relationships.
To believe: not only in words but deep in our hearts that Jesus does not leave us alone.
“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23)
To pray: to grant time and intimacy of thought, words, and heart to God.
Lord, show us the way, Lord, I offer you my sufferings, Lord, grant us the gifts of Your Holy Spirit, Lord, stay with me, because with You I have everything and without You my all is nothing.
In this 134th prayer marathon, we truly want to meditate on the living presence of Jesus in our lives, not as an abstract and philosophical concept with many doubts and uncertainties, but with the certainty that the Lord is with us.
134th International Prayer Marathon
Jesus is alive, let’s open our hearts
April 29-30, 1 May2024
We entrust ourselves to our dear Holy Virgin Mary as we prepare for the month of May with a special closeness to the mother of Jesus and our mother, a clear path. Let us continue to pray for all intentions and to learn to build and maintain peace in our families, our cities, our countries, and in our world.
