For the sufferings

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

admiring the beauty of nature and what only God could give us on earth we wonder how it must be wonderful the Heaven itself … or in true joy with family and friends, including the love in engagement and wedding living the emotions that we would endure in eternal.

Unfortunately part of our mortal lives we spend to face the difficulties and suffering.
In the passage from the Gospel of Matthew (16: 21-23) when Jesus reveals to his disciples that He has to go to Jerusalem, suffer, be killed and resurrect on the third day , clashes with Peter, symbolizing our humanity. We dare to do not accept the suffering and think according to our human logic

Being ready to suffer is a really hard task , but to entrust our lives to God in order to give a meaning to our existence and sure to enjoy his eternal love is the choice of true Christians.
In this 49th Marathon of prayer before the Lenten journey that will lead us side by side with the suffering Jesus we want to remind all those who suffer in body and spirit, so that our prayer can strengthen their faith and can give them peace and serenity.

 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. ²⁵ For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it. ²⁶ For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? ²⁷ “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done. Matthew 16 :24-27
