Blood of Christ, heal us

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

May the peace of the Lord be always with us!

The month of July is dedicated to the precious Blood of Jesus, and in our monthly Prayer meeting, we want to ask the Lord for our physical and spiritual healing.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

The Lord Jesus invites us to seek Him. “Come to me” is not a simple invitation but a promise tied to being well with Him, to be rewarded and satisfied.

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29)

It’s not enough to encounter Jesus; we must enter into intimacy with Him, listening in the silence of our hearts to the simplicity of the Son of God, who asks us to be His disciples, to learn from Him, to live on earth but destined for heavenly eternity.

“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13)

Jesus is no ordinary friend; He trusts us to the point of sacrificing Himself, of suffering and forsaking His status as the only begotten Son of God to die on the cross for us.

The precious Blood of Jesus is the source of our redemption; it is the terror of demons, the defeat of the empire of darkness, and the symbol of our sanctification; we must imprint it in our hearts.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.

Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me.

Water from the side of Christ, wash me.

Passion of Christ, strengthen me.

O good Jesus, hear me.

Within Your wounds, hide me.

Do not let me be separated from You.

From the malignant enemy, defend me.

In the hour of my death, call me.

And command me to come to You, that with Your saints, I may praise You.

Forever and ever. Amen.
